A Palestinian-American teenager after completing nine months in imprisonment by Israel without charge has been freed.
The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim had just turned 15 during his detention last February in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, while he was vacationing on holiday from Florida under suspicion of rock throwing against settlement residents, claims he consistently denied.
The US state department said it welcomed the news of Mohammed's release.
Mohammed, now 16, needed medical care right after being freed, relatives told the media.
They said he is showing signs of malnutrition, while battling health issues contracted in captivity.
In a statement, Mohammed's uncle conveyed their "tremendous relief".
The uncle, Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "living a horrific and endless nightmare" during the entire detention period.
"Currently, we're concentrating on ensuring Mohammed receives urgent medical care necessary for his recovery after experiencing Israel's abuse and inhumane conditions throughout his detention."
US officials stated they would maintain to extend consular services to the teenager's relatives.

Several congressional representatives submitted a formal letter to US authorities and the administration, urging greater action for his freedom.
Mr Ibrahim, with four children operating an ice cream shop based in Tampa, had earlier stated Mohammed acknowledged allegations to throwing stones due to physical abuse.
The father hadn't visited or spoken to Mohammed following the detention, receiving updates exclusively regarding the treatment in detention through court documents.
He stayed lacking indictment within Ofer penitentiary in the West Bank.
The facility also contains grown detainees, featuring prisoners sentenced regarding severe security violations including killings.
There are around 350 Palestinian minors in security custody currently imprisoned in Israel, based on prison authority data.

Following Mohammed's release, family representatives announced the family would also continue fighting demanding accountability for their family member Sayfollah Musallet.
