The comedian

Acclaimed children's author and comedian David Walliams has been dropped by his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.

A representative for the company stated: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
