This young athlete boasts impressive social media audience
Kai Trump will have numerous high-profile cheerleaders as she begins her LPGA debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to Donald Trump, obtained a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
The former president, a passionate golfer, owns multiple international courses and frequently matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she revealed.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa basically suggested to compete and relax," she added.
"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."
Being non-professional, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains the 461st position in AJGA listings.
However she can seek guidance from golf legend, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He is the top athlete in the world," Kai stated.
"Additionally, he's an even better person. He told me to go out there, have fun, following whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in the sport at this tournament, featuring second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to different demographics, particularly reaching younger fans.
The young star maintains substantial online presence and just introduced her own fashion and living label.
She begins at 17:30 GMT.
